Neal began calling games for the Thunderbolts in 2005, and after a three-year absence from the booth, returned in 2012. Neal lives in Takoma Park and retired in 2014 after a four-decade career in radio and television, most notably at the Voice of America. Besides calling the games, he oversees the T-Bolts’ broadcast efforts.
