Join Our Gameday Crew at Montgomery Blair Stadium!

Our fantastic interns help make T-Bolts baseball possible every season with their diligent work, commitment, and love for the team! Gameday interns handle various duties, including maintaining our field, handling ticket purchases at the gate, operating the stadium audio system, assisting in scorekeeping and scoreboard operation, working in concessions, and much more. If you’re a high school senior or college student in search of a fun and rewarding internship opportunity, then a summer at Montgomery Blair Stadium as a gameday intern is exactly what you’re looking for! Management interns will receive a stipend for the season.

Management Interns: The Thunderbolts have Two (2) vacancies for June and July, 2026 in their Sports Management Intern program. Interns will receive a stipend and are eligible for community service hours or college work/study credit. Interns will work under the direction of the General Manager and other board members. Duties: Interns will be involved in all aspects of team operations and will rotate through assignments such as marketing/publicity; food service and concessions; stadium maintenance; fan liaison services; game-day promotions; fan party management and general fan service. The interns will have direct responsibility for their assigned area each game and will meet regularly with the General Manager to discuss progress. Positions are open to any high school junior/senior or college students between the age of 17 and 24. Interns will be required to work from 4:00 – 11:00 p.m. on home game days (usually 3-4 days per week). There are a total of 20-22 home games during the season over an 8 week period. Interns are required to attend a half-day training program in early June. The league season runs from June 2 – July 31.

Assistant Camp Director (Intership) - Work with Thunderbolts Camp Director checking in and checking out campers, supervise lunches, coordinate on field schedules of counselors, fill in where needed in training sessions and assemble all equipment each day. Hours: 8:30- 3:15 pm; Dates of work: M-F (5 weeks) June 22-July 24 at Blair Baseball Stadium; Age: 19-24 years old: Stipend $2400.

Music Director (Internship)– responsible for coordinating game day music. Position requirements: work hours: 6-10:30 p.m.; Dates of work: Twenty (20) selected dates at Blair Baseball in June and July; Age: 17-24 years old; nominal stipend.

Bat Boy/Bat Girl Positions
We will have four (4) bat boy/bat girl positions this season. Bat boy/bat girls will work in teams of two each game from 6 pm to end of game. Positions are open for students age 10-13 years of age. The league season runs from June 2- July 31.
